Nice scanner except for one problem.

I liked the size and features of this mobile scanner, which is why I bought it.
Pro -
- Small Size
- Ability to turn off by closing the sheet-feeder lip/lid
- Can load the scanner with multiple sheets for scanning
Con -
There is one big problem that I did not find out until after I bought it. You cannot use the scanner with other software/programs. You must use their proprietary software which limits you in what format you can save what you scan. A large deal breaker for me.
I also had problems running the software and hardware on a Windows 8 64-bit system even though they say it works. Spent many hours trying to get this to work on my system.

Love the scanner, but we need to talk about the software

This is a nifty device and well-worth the money. I have started de-cluttering my office. However, I have 2012 MacBook Pro and the software options for creating and manipulating files seems limited. The computer operating system no longer recognizes, and therefore, prohibits the use of the business card reading software. I'm still studying the situation before Fujitsu and I discuss why I paid extra for non-functional software.
The scanner itself is a little wonder. You'll love it.

best portable scanner

This is the best portable scanner ever. No need for external power. The accompanying software is easy to use. Scanning is breeze, Only draw back is it is a single sheet feeder; however, that is the main reason for a portable scanner. For multiple scanning, use the office scanner.
