5Network Scanner for the rest of us

I'm trying to reduce paper but it never seems to end. As a self employed writer, I need to keep all receipts, not to mention years worth of papers I dream of scanning to DVD or the cloud. I've tried other scanners that connect to computer. They work fine but then I have to do all the work. For years I've wanted a scanner I could put in a public area to be used for all the new, incoming paperwork by family members and day workers, etc. True Network Scanners were thousands of dollars.

You do NOT NEED a computer turned on to use the Visioneer 4000!
It talks to my Mac OSX 10.8 network and devices, which is a find in itself. It also works with Windows. Though I don't care about that, I'm sure others will. BUT REMEMBER you don't need a computer. That's the whole point! I won't get technical you can find that easily in the product info. Any idiot (like me) can connect it in minutes. Yee Hah! For me, it works great.
