This is a great scanning and faxing machine, I got this for my business and it scans upto 25 to 50 sheets of documents with 10 to 15 seconds and it is easy to use.Don't have a fax machine? Don't worry just scan the document and fax it rigth to the email address.it is great for any business.

4Good Scanner

This scanner performs very well for what I need it to do. We have had the scanner for probably a month now and I have ran a few thousand pages through it. The best part about it is that you do not need a computer at all to use it, It truly can scan directly to a network folder. It is also very fast which is a huge plus. Another one of my favorites is when it jams you can resume the scan instead of starting over from the beginning. The only problems that I have with this scanner are the scan to email function and the way the sign in process works. There is a scan to email function, but with the current firmware it only works if you have your own email server. It will not I repeat will not work with any web based email platform. The guys at HP said that they are working on this right now so fingers crossed. Finally the scanner allows users to sign in before using the device, which is a nice touch. My only complaint is that the "quicksets" or the saved network path to the users folder is not exclusive to any single user. so person x being signed in as person x can still scan to person y's network folder. The only way around this right now is to have the user enter in the network path to the folder they want to scan to, which is not feasible in a normal office setting. I would like to see a way to make person x only see their own network folder to avoid confusion. In conclusion this is a great product, a huge step up from the hp scanjet n6350 it replaced in our office.
