I was long looking for a portable scanner to use instead still camera, mostly copying files in courts and offices. Got this due to sale price and I find it worth every buck, besides some of the flaws which I list:
* Eats batteries very fast, good choice of AA vs. AAA accus, pls keep spares all the time with you;
* Older version saves to jpg only, some of you might find pdf or tiff useful with newer models;
* It is not so easy to scan thick pile of documents tightly bounded in a file, I have to practice more, some users advice horizontal scanning (from the inside to the outside), actually I would gladly buy longer unit (7,5'' scanning window);
* Does not scan when wired with usb cable to you laptop nor charges accus, so you might find yourself playing with cable and plugs ;
* Micro SD not so convenient as full-size SD card to play between scanner and card reader (well, try to imagine memory size in y. 2020 ;))
But overall... That's the handy product I was wainting for! :-))
