5This scanner is excellent and durable!

I use this scanner at work everyday to scan dozens of vendor invoices into our new electronic filing system. We use it with Adobe Acrobat, and the results are excellent. You have many choices of DPI to choose from, so if you need something extremely sharp, you can easily get it, or if you just need something basic, you can get that as well. It also does double sided scanning (although you have to go in and change settings each time you need to do that). One of my co workers just got one for her scanning needs here at work. I am considering buying one of these for home to scan all my overflowing paper into electronic files. It even scans little receipts from the gas station well! This gets a big thumbs up from me.

4VERY CONVENIENT

This small scanner has been a bless for me. I have to travel a lot and have some documents approved. Usually I dont have a problem printing my documents because I can put them in a USV drive and using a hotel computer I'm able to print it, but scanning it after signed is a different story. The software included is very good, although from time to time fails, but after you try again, it works. I'm very satisfied and recommend anyone with my same situation. Another point to mention is that when traveling, if you have it among your carry in things, as I always do, our friends from TGA always want to check it separately. So, it is another thing you have to punt separately in the inspection belt: the laptop, shoes, belt, cell phone, iPad, keys, watch and the scanner.

3Only scans to 14"

Do not buy this scanner if you are expecting to scan anything longer than 14". It will error out and says Paper Jam. I contacted HP and was told that indeed the maximum scan size is 14" and that the document that says it's 34" was an error. If you check the support site for this scanner it has the correct specs.
